Admissions

The Sonoma Center for Change conducts an admissions assessment in order to determine an individual’s current personal treatment needs. SCC does not provide medical detox services. If medical detoxification is required from any drugs or alcohol it will need to be completed prior to admission. Once you have made the initial inquiry regarding admission, our staff will talk with you individually to begin the general assessment.

During that assessment, we’ll evaluate your individual substance abuse, mental health and medical condition. Next, our clinical and medical staff will review your individual case against our admission guidelines. If you meet the qualifying criteria and space is available, treatment at Sonoma Center for Change will be offered.

Residential Treatment

Residential treatment at the Sonoma Center for Change offers support and structure for men and women seeking treatment for alcoholism, drug addiction, and co-occurring behavioral health disorders (dual diagnosis). Residents will stay in one of our residential homes for the course of the program. Lengths of stay are flexible and individualized, ranging from 30 – 90 days, and our professional counseling staff will assist you in determining your level of care. It is recommended that a resident attend a minimum of 45 consecutive days at SCC.

Outpatient & Aftercare

SCC provides two years of aftercare and group counseling for all of those who complete the program. Aftercare facilitates sustained progress in recovery. Outpatient treatment involves a structured day or evening treatment program that is offered before or after work or school. For appropriately selected individuals, such programs provide essential education and treatment components while allowing them to apply their newly acquired skills within real world environments.

Program Fees

The Sonoma Center for Change is a private pay facility, however we will help you with reimbursement from your insurance carrier, if possible. The total cost of care is based upon each resident’s length of stay, which depends upon the resident’s placement and progress in treatment. Financing is available upon approval. Additional charges will be incurred for services outside of the intake and structured weekly programming. Discounts are available with cash payments, and we provide partial scholarships for those in need. Please call Admissions for our current residential rates, 1-800-878-2704.

Testimonial:

After beginning my journey, I was surprised to feel my senses waking up. I was almost certain they'd given up on me - and, suddenly, I was actually experiencing my world. I could relate to and communicate with my environment and those in it, as if I were "Home", no matter where I was...Now I feel free to be my Self..and for the first time, I know who I am... ~ Casey
