Small Client to Staff Ratio

The West Meadow House is a 6-bed adult residential home with an expansive redwood deck, gazebo, and newly remodeled kitchen, baths, and bedrooms. The seasonal creek, forested hillsides and meadow that surround the home create an environment that invites rediscovery of the relationship bewteen oneself and the natural world of which they are in integral part.

Freedom to Simply Be

The spacious SCC grounds also include hiking trails, ridge top camp sites, flower garden, meadows, meditation hall, yoga studio, numerous group and individual counseling spaces, treatments rooms for massages, acupuncture and other healing modalities, a basketball court, and sweat lodge. Residents have ample opportunity to balance time with oneself while supported by a community that is structured around whole-self healing.

 

The Sonoma Center for Change is located 15 miles from the Charles M. Schultz Airport in Santa Rosa; 82 miles from the Oakland Int'l Airport; and 81 miles from the San Francisco Int'l Airport. We provide transportation to and from the airprort, as well as pick up clients for assessment and admissions in Sonoma, Marin, Napa and surrounding San Francisco counties.

The climate of Sebastopol, CA is mild during the summer with temperatures averaging in the mid 60's-70's. The winter temperatures tend to be in the 40's. Temperature variations between night and day can be great, with a difference of 25 degrees in the summer and 20 degrees in the winter. The rainy season is during the winter, with an average rainfall of 36 inches per year.
